Had a business meeting in the city and decided to stop in on my way back. It's a quick jump off of I-95. Walked in the door and didn't have to pay a cover because it was still early (a little after 6). I headed straight in to the bar. The bartenders appear to be gals who are a little older. She was really friendly and dropped what he was doing to get me a drink, which was priced just about the same as other establishments. There were a number of girls talking to guys around the bar. Most of the guys seemed older and local. The girls were decent. The lighting was darker than a normal bar but still light enough to enjoy the show. I made my way to the stage where there were about a half dozen other guys spread out. The stage is shaped like a "T" with a pole in the middle and an entrance with a curtain off the back. The music wasn't really like other club music and mostly older songs, like Peter Gabriel. A girl who looked Hispanic with an average body was finishing up on stage. I threw a couple of singles up and she gave me a very good view of her goods from the back. Not too many of the other guys seemed to be tipping so I got a decent show and she didn't rush down the line. The next girl out looked Asian with blond hair and a really nice right body. She used the pole a little and flashed the goods for a few singles and really put on a good show on her stomach, back, and all fours in the floor of the stage. She asked for a dance...

I went to the Cabaret on a Monday afternoon, about 1:30. It was as you would expect, very slow. There were about 5 customers, all sitting at the large figure 8 shaped bar and about 5 dancers that I was able to see. I was told that there was a relatively recent management change at this long time club, and it really shows. This is a really nice space, well thought out and keeping just enough of back-in-the-day touches to make it both modern and comfortable. The large main room is roughly divided in thirds between the large bar area, the cross shaped dance stage and the table area. The private booth area is a separate room. Premium drafts were $10 ($15 for a small pitcher) and $7 for regular drafts ($12 for a small pitcher.) All the action was on the stage. No one ever approached me for a private dance. The dance sets were long (seemed like 20 minutes) and the emphasis was on dancing and performance (old school). I saw 3 dancers, all attractive, all good dancers. White, black & asian. I think the private dances were $30 for typical Mass air but nobody offered so I didn't ask. The place is really nicely lit with none of the eye adjustments some people have to go through. The music was not overly loud so you could talk. I enjoyed talking to the nice looking bartender. The location couldn't be better or safer. Right on Route 1 south, easy on easy off & plenty of free parking. I will return sometime when it is a little busier and hope I might get...

This club has some very hot dancers both in the afternoon and at night. Although most of the dancers are white I have seen a good representative of African American and Hispanic dancers as well. They have amateur nights (Wednesday & Thursdays) and there is more of mixed bag then. There is a large main stage where there is usually two dancers (nude) working at a time. All tips are placed on the stage and there is no touching of any kind. There is a smaller stage on the left that gets a little use on busy weekends, usually one dancer. They have done some major remodeling in the past few months. The bathroom is no longer a big mess but new and clean. The private dance area has been changed a lot but still not as private if you are used to Rhode Island clubs. But private dances are a bit of a waste here. Massachusetts is a non-contact state and the rules are strictly enforced. Total non-contact private dances are $20/song and topless. The bouncers pay attention and keep things clean. When the main stage gets crowded there often is not a place to sit and still be able get a good view of the dancers. There is a cover charge ($10) at night and drinks seem reasonably priced. (I paid $5 for a Bud Light in the afternoon.) There a nice large parking lot and is located right on a major commercial area of Route 1. The area is very safe so no worries there. Access from the south can be a little annoying as you have to go further north and then come back south. Leaving...

So I had the chance to go into the Cabaret Lounge yesterday and it was much of the same that I see here in the Northeast. No real touching, no reason for private dances, and no handing dollars directly to the ladies.

That being said, there one VERY cute girlhere. The one I remember (and did get a dance from because I'm a sucker) was named Olivia. Tall, thin, tan, and in good shape. IF she is there I would pay just to sit around with her. That would be another thing to mention here. In Atlanta, my home town, girls can sit wherever they want and help you throw money at girls on stage. Here they are not allowed to sit with you when you are stage side, only at the bar. The service was nice, but for the most part these girls were not into the work, even when you are trying to give money away. Loads of potential and one old guy that sat near me said this place used to be the best. Booze was a little pricey and NO CARDS, CASH ONLY, were a few other drawbacks.

All in all its not terrible if you need to look at one or two decent looking women naked. It is not a place I would spend much money or time in if it were Atlanta, but while I'm traveling, I'll take it.

Went there with the hope of grabbing some dinner, but found out that the kitchen is only open on weekends. Bummer seeing I skipped lunch and I almost left, but the bartender put together a cheese & cracker plate which kept me in the club (good move on her part seeing I tipped her an extra $10 for her effort).

The club was fairly slow and there were almost as many gals as there were guys, but many were in their typical cliques of multiple dancers or with regulars. Finally a girl sat next to me and she said she was there for amateur night, but actually she was more of an experienced independent that moves around to various clubs to try and win the amateur night pot. She was nice to talk to, but the $14 Tequila shots she was chugging took their toll, but the $20 private dances included some good mileage. She also became a bit clingy and indicated there would be some OTC opportunities, but never provided the cell or took mine when asked.

All in all, I might try this place again and check out the regulars (there were a number of nice 9s running around) or try the Banana down the road a bit. Not having the kitchen open during the week sucks and they should reconsider.
