While traveling to Portland, I stopped by Casa Diablo driven mostly by curiosity. The club is a bit tucked away in an industrial district butting up again a hill. There is a big sign that says "Montgomery Park", which is an old warehouse. If you see this sign, you are in the neighborhood. There is plenty of free parking, although most of the better spot are on a steep hill. The place looks a little run down, but not bad. The inside is like a big cabin with a bar on the far end. The chairs, benches, tables are wooden, instead of padded chairs. Well, this is the Northwest.

The club was fairly quiet earlier in the day. The club was well lit, and seemed more like a local bar than a strip club. At the sunken bar where a few chairs and a few dancers that appeared to be talking to some regulars. I sat near the bar since sitting on the stage was $2 per song. There must be some bank nearby that stocks $2 bills for this club. As others have noted, expect to get change back in $2 bills.

The few dancers working in the afternoon varied from beautiful, girl next store looking to heavily tattooed. I am not sure any of the girls I saw were tattoo free. Guess that must be Portland too. The dancers where trying to put on a show, but seemed bored at times as well. There is a patio where dancers would go out and smoke, which also doubled as a place for the locals to chat up the dancers.

In summary...

Was heading to the airport and had plenty of time so decided to stop into the club for an afternoon visit.

They have a permanent register set up now to collect cover (complete with tip bucket?!?). Lucky it was unmanned at 4pm. Strolled on in and visited the facilities first. The men's room really needs work. They have a literal curtain for the one toilet, and three urinals squeezed in so tight the two outer guys will be holding the middle one up. To top it off, the hand dryer is behind the curtain.

Moving on to the bar they now have signs indicating the bar line right at the entrance. Luckily it wasn't that crowded at all (basically just 5 patrons at this hour).

They stopped serving ice tea, but soft drinks are just 4 dollars. Change is given in $2 bills. Signs are plastered all over the tip rail indicating one bill per song.

There were 5 ladies doing 3 song rotations. Typical day shift, with a mix of new and familiar faces. Not as many laps at the rails as in he past, but that might just been the crowd.

Didn't have time to do a private, but lots of signs saying buy 2 get a third free, which is slight better than the old 3 for $100 "special".

Overall I'll gladly stop in again when I'm in the area and have time

Visiting from out of town, and I decided to come to Casa because it seemed like the most popular club in Portland according to the reviews. Driving there one of the things I noticed it seemed to be in a deserted area. I didn't see anybody in the streets, very few cars out and about. I almost thought I was going to the wrong club, but the club is on a hill, and I saw a lot of cars parked there, so I figured this must be the place. I walked in and there was a guy there to check my ID, and there was a topless girl collecting the cover money. Interesting. The cover was 6 or 8 bucks or something like that. I gave her a $20, and she gave me 2 dollar bills in change. Da fuck? They also gave me some raffle ticket for some kind of free dance drawing that happens later on.

I surveyed the place a little bit. Man there were a lot of white girls, probably 95% of the girls were white. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm just not used to that in LA. Another thing I noticed, man these bitches were tatted up. Some girls in the club have tattoos back home, but man damn near every one of these girls were tatted up. My take on girls with a lot of tattoos is it hides their beautiful skin. Another thing I noticed was that the waitresses and the bartenders were topless. Hmmm. Different kind of club I guess. I stood around a little bit, and I saw customers with alcoholic beverages, and the girls were getting naked on stage! First time I've been to a club like this. In LA...

I came down with a bachelor part from Tacoma on Saturday. We stopped at Casa Diablo later in the evening. This club is definitely the Most impressionable. A dancer named Odessa made me feel right at home;). I'll get to that part later. As everyone has noted and our Uber driver, the club isn't cheap. The girls are definitely there for the hustle. You gotta respect that, tho! Most of the girls that night are covered in the standard Portland ink. Arm sleeves, back in and quite a bit of chest ink. It was $6 to get in and I received a raffle ticket. Lucky me. The place was packed when our crew of six walked in. There were no seats against the wall and a huge line to get a drink. There were two bartenders (both topless) that were slowly churning out drinks. The line was about ten people deep. You would see the constant barrage of dancers trying to hustle the people for a drink in line or a dance. That would be cool if the line would move quicker, but we stood in line for a drink for a half hour. Luckily this wasn't our first stop of the night! After we order and had our drinks we looked for a place to chill. There was not one. There was some room on a smoking deck out side, but who wants to be on the outside looking in?

We crowded the minor's stage that was right by the bar. The bar back slammed us a few times for being in our way. More or less a jerk. Where else are we supposed to go?! Slowly our crew dispersed around the club. We found a table...

I went here on a Saturday night, around midnight. There wasn't a line at the door so found myself inside within minutes. There is a long, 2-pole stage to left, and another smaller pole-less stage further back. At the very end is the bar. Dancers cycle through stages starting form the smaller stage across the bar and move on the next with each song. You're expected to tip $2 per song if sitting at any of the stages. There are a bunch of tables surrounding the stages which are pretty close to the stages, but all tables were occupied the whole time I was there. There also is a patio outside if you're into fresh air here and there.
There were about 35 dancers, most slim/normal with only one real curvy. 15-20 dancers or so were easily in the solid 8-9 range, with 5 or so scoring 10 depending on taste. Lots of tattoo types, of course the club being in Portland, but a handful had no ink at all. Most dancers were all natural, except a few maybe. In general, quality of the dancers was the best I have seen in pdx in recent past. Even the curvy of the bunch deserved respect in her own right; she was pulling all sorts of tricks in a 5x5' space all night long. I'd say 20-30% of the patrons were females, which was nice to see in a SC crowd.
Dances were $40-50 per song, fully nude I believe. There was a line in front of the private booths though, easily several couples long. Not a single dancer hassled me for a dance, but I could tell they were ready...
