I have sporadically worked at this club on and off for 6 years. It is always super laid back and easy going, but is always a revolving door for management. The current ladies who manage the place now though are the best this club has ever had from a dancers perspective. As long as they run the club, I will continue to work there.

For patrons: 2$ tues is still the best thing you can do at a titty bar on bourbon for a Tues night. The drinks are 2$, and in general it will be the busiest club on Bourbon on a Tues night. On Wed-thurs they also have 1.25$ longneck specials, which as a dancer, i think is way too cheap a drink to bring in quality customers, but for visitors: if you want cheap beers, this is the spot to be. Weekends are normal drink prices. The talent here is across the board- some amazingly hot pole dancers, some girls who are not going to get hired at the higher end clubs. I guess Vu has always taken its slogan of "1000s of beautiful women and 3 ugly ones" seriously. Overall, i think the dancers are a lot hotter than they were a few years ago. Most of the girls are laid back and friendly as well. The dancers are about 50/50 on ethnic backgrounds, so in the club you will hear all types of music, and there are plenty of tattooed chicks as well. The dances are 30$, or in the upstairs booths 3/100$. The VIP rooms get as expensive here as at hustler. They arent as well decorated inside, but since you are really paying for hte gi...

Went to Deja Vu Friday night/Saturday morning around 3 am when I should have been heading home. But, I was at another bar and a couple of really cute bartenders from Deja Vu were picking up food and told me I should check it out. There was no cover at that time and I was surprised at how crowded the club was. It was packed with customers. Seating and the stage is on the left when you come in and the bar is on the right. The crowd was all around the stage sitting, standing, dancing, etc. The girl on stage was doing some pretty good pole tricks and getting a lot of ooh's and ah's. I grabbed a seat at the bar so I could talk to the bartenders and try to figure the place out. The bar was not busy at that point because everyone was over by the stage. (One interesting thing was that the bartenders were measuring the booze using a jigger when pouring drinks. So the drinks did not look as strong for the buck. I drank beers which were 7 or 8 bucks.) After a little while, I got approached by a couple of dancers. They were cute, but not to my taste, so I declined. There was some "But I'll give you a real good time." They were all intent on going upstairs, but I think that is where all the lap dances take place as I didn't at least see any on the floor. I did eventually go upstairs with a cute dancer who came on pretty strong. It was so dark upstairs, I am not really sure of the layout. She paid the VIP host, and we went to a booth. The mileage was nowhere...

I went to 3-4 clubs Saturday Night, but but Deja Vu was definitely the best one of the night. It was late so the door girl let me in for $5. Everyone was sitting on the walls, so I walked up and sat right at the stage, started throwing singles out to all the girls. I watched 4-5 girls dance, probably tipped $10 to each, lots of titties in my face. They were all appreciative that I was atleast at the stage tipping, and didnt really expect me to throw stacks down on the stage.

I had a couple lap dances from a few different girls, $30/per, and the DJ was letting the songs go long. The girls were also good about waiting for a new song to start before starting. The bouncers weren't hovering over us, and the girls were all cool with the usual amount of NOLA touching, no kitty, one of the girls wouldn't let me touch her boobs until the 2nd song, but that's pretty common. I didn't try for any extras, I'd been drinking too much to get my money worth anway,

I did go up the upstairs vip with one girl. She had the bouncer read me the menu for the champagne room, the cheapest was $400 IIRC, but I passed. I told her that I wasn't trying to waste her time or my money, and managed to get about 15 minutes with her for 150 including tip, and I only spent $30 with her downstairs before this. I wished I had come upstairs with the first girl I got a dance with, but she wasn't bad. She made sure that 'Mr. happ...

I visited with five friends or so. We went in the first club we saw; we were fairly inebriated by this point. This was during a "free admission" time, but we paid five dollars for a readmission band. The club itself wasn't terribly dingy, but it wasn't some sort of VIP palace, either. I didn't feel grossed out or unsafe by any means. The dancers on stage were of moderate quality; four or so sat at the bar. Things weren't looking great.

However, one of my friends (god bless him) bought me a dance with a curvy girl with big fake boobs. I thought her name was "Merica" but in retrospect it was likely "Erica." She had excellent soft implants, which I enjoyed in the lap dance area. This cost $30 and was in a large back room with several red velvet cubicles. This provided a healthy amount of privacy. A lazy fat bouncer never seemed to look up from his podium. I was allowed polite above-waist touching. Acting like a gentleman earned me essentially continuous contact. She convinced me to spend the $100.00 for increased time in a farther back cubicle. This provided a longer dance, but no real action. I'm not sure I'd buy that in the future. Her tits were so nice I didn't really care. I was told prices go from "a hundred dollars to the thousands." I don't know why you'd pay more.

I don't think this is the club for extras, but I didn't feel aggressively upsold a...

I went here as a customer with a group of friends last new years eve. The cover was $10 & not negotiable (typical for Nola clubs during an event/festival)
My first reaction inside was disssapointment at the set up. The space just feels too big & open & carelessly decorated to have an interesting ambience. So yep, low ambience here.
One main stage with 2 high poles. Smaller side stage crammed into the back corner. The club does appear more interesting (why I gave it a 6) due to the stairs heading to VIP section.
There wasn't many girls & wasn't too much variety for new years. The girls generally seemed tired - but I bet they were, since the club seemed full of annoying young guys who didn't seem able to handle their booze.
We stayed at the stage tipping. I understand why the girls may not have paid much attention to us as me & a guy friend had decided to cross dress & we probly looked like weirdos.
We got a lap dance from a brunette with big fake tits- she was really sweet, good dance & good personality. Lap dances were done in what felt like a maze of crushed red velvet.
All in all it was a nice night.
