This place used to be Bare Assets South, but like Bliss on Ulmerton, got bought out by and renamed Mile High Club. When it was Bare Assets, it wasn't very good. I decided to see the changes that Mile High made. I walk in and the setup is the same. There is a dancing stage in the middle and rectangular bar where you can sit closer to the stage or on the other side with your back to the wall. It was about 4pm, so no cover charge. I ordered a beer and it was only $2, just like before. There were 4 or 5 dancers of fairly low quality. One started talking to me and I wanted to get the scoop on dances so I bought her a drink (Patron $9). She seemed a little confused or wanted to confuse me because she kept saying different things. There are still single dances more out in the open. I still don't understand the pricing. At one point she said $30 per song, then $35 per song, then something about a two for $40 deal. She was trying to convince me to do a $75 dance, which she said could be done in the VIP room where she said there was complete privacy. I didn't get much more info than that and had no interest in doing a dance with her or any of the other girls there that day, so I finished my beer quickly and left. I won't be back.

I had a couple of hours one evening to go out in the Largo/Pinellas area and had not visited clubs in the area before. My first stop was Atlantis, but there were only a few dancers working there and those that were were working what appeared to be locals. Anyway, that is a different review.

So headed down the road to Bare Assets South/Mile High. I like the club layout, nice big bar and plenty of seating. I took a seat at the bar near the far end. Again ,however, very few girls working. The cutest one, a thin brunette, was sitting at the bar having something to eat but I quickly realized she was a server. After a while a pretty blonde girl came over and chatted and we went back to the private rooms. They have the deal of 15 mins for 70 bucks or something like that. You pay the guy out front in advance. Anyway, we went back and Of course I checked the time on my watch. She started in, and in was pretty lacklustre from the get go. By the end of the first song, things were warming up a little. Then the guy from out front comes in around the 7 min mark and says something like 2 min warning and walks away. So I stop her and say what the hell. Went out to talk to the guy and at first he argued with me but then realized he had misread his watch or something. I went back to her but wasn't into it at that point. A pretty crappy dance anyway.

Didn't have time to try a 3rd place so I hung around. Got approached by a nice looking...

I was visiting my "wingman" in St. Pete and decided to check out some of the clubs in the area. Bare Assets has changed names and apparently ownership as well. It is now called Mile High Gentleman's Club This is my first time visiting this club so I cannot judge if there were any changes. They did have a "lunch wagon" out front for food service. The club charged $10 admission. Quality of the entertainers was mediocre. A few 7's the rest 5's. Half AA the other half white or Latino. Dancers were on the main stage one at a time did three songs each. There were only a handful of customers and none sat around the stage everyone was sitting around the bar, or off to the side. As each entertainer came off stage they did circle the bar thanking those of us who tipped them while on stage but they didn't stop. One of the entertainers invited me to watch her and another dancer on a side stage. Just after we got there one of the bouncers informed us that we would have to purchase a "bottle" to remain there. I found out that girl who invited me there actually worked at one of their other clubs and was unaware of the rule change.
Shortly after the incident at the side stage there was a conflict at one of the side tables and before something escalated my friend and I decided that we should leave before it became more serious.
I was not impressed with the club. Perhaps it is just "growing pains" but they have a long...

Was curious about Bare Assets South (BAS), since Bare Assets in Holiday 50 minutes north in Pasco County is a popular nude club. Knew BAS would be pasties or topless, since it is in Pinellas County. Arrived around 3:30 Monday afternoon. Few cars in parking lot. Entered club to see a very large stage with 2 poles that consumes about a 3rd of the open club area. Seats at the stage, then a huge rectangular bar, with seating on both the stage side and the far side facing the stage. Bartender is in the middle of this rectangle. Setup is spartan but not trashy. When I entered, there were 3 customers (I made it 4) and 3 dancers. As I sat at the bar, immediately one of the 3 left her "customer" and descended upon me. If she had looked like an 8 to 10, I would have tolerated her, but she wasn't close. Neither were the other two dancers. Ordered a Scotch on the rocks. Took the bartender, who was the nicest looking thing there, 5 minutes to find the well Scotch while I fielded and deflected questions and comments from the dancer in my face. Managed to be indifferent enough that she moved on to a new arrival.

Music was blaring, not just loud. I decided to stay long enough to see one dancer. It was maybe 10 minutes after my entry that the first of the 3 dancers got on stage. Not slender, pleasantly plump, but cellulite. Removed top during (not beginning of) 3rd song. No tape/pasties. Okay, but for me, not remotely attractive. We're up to 5 total custom...
