I stopped in here on Christmas Eve. I've been to this club once before and had a good time, but this visit wasn't as good. Savannah's is a very nice club physically. The chairs that surround the stage are comfortable unlike some of the hard chairs I've had to sit in at other clubs. The inside of the club doesn't look run-down and it's very clean and upscale looking. During the holidays (they probably aren't doing it anymore), they had this deal where if you bring 3 cans, you get a "holiday pass" which basically meant you got in for free. If it weren't for that, the cover charge would have likely been somewhere between 10 and 15 dollars.

Savannah's has one stage and normally a dancer will perform for two songs before exiting the stage. The dancers at this club are pretty much all-white. That's so boring. I don't have anything against white dancers, I like all types of women, but no variety is lame. These girls are mostly slim and slender. They aren't thick, so if that's your thing, you won't find it here. I will say though that the girls here are cute. Nothing amazing, but better than average looking. I tipped a couple of the girls, and they were appreciative on stage, but none of them came over and asked for lap dance later on.

When I was here the first time, they called a couple 2 for 1's. However, on this night, they didn't call any in the 2 hours that I...

I was returning from a trip to Atlanta and had arranged to meet up with GoVikings on my way home. Unfortunately, it was Christmas Eve (the only time we could get together), and the place we wanted to meet -- the Treasure Club in Greensboro -- was closed, so we opted for Savannah's in Winston-Salem. I arrived at 8:30 and, thanks to the recent review by stillworks, I knew I could get in for free if I brought three cans of food. Probably saved me $15 at the door.

GoVikings was already there and, as we expected, it was pretty slow. There were about 10 customers (maybe fewer, actually) and only about five dancers. The girls were all white, small-busted (except one), and pretty. They danced three songs each on stage, and were topless for songs two and three. They announced that one of the dancers was one of their waitresses, making her stage debut. She was dressed in a sexy outfit, but she did not take anything off. I wish she would have, as she might have been the best of the lot.

I had only been to this club once before (exactly one year and six months ago), and I remember that the lap dances, done in a nice but not-very-private area in the lower level, are topless, low-mileage, and fairly expensive (I think maybe $30). At that time, they had hourly 2-for-1 specials, but during the 90 minutes I was there last Saturday, I did not hear anything about specials. I saw the complete dancer rotation twice and decided to head out, since I st...

I was in Winston-Salem for business and selected this one of the few clubs in the area. I'm glad I did. I arrived at about 10:00 PM on Wednesday, March 16th. The parking lot is fairly ample and there weren't many cars in the lot that night.

Upon entering, I was asked if I had a membership. When I said no, they asked to see my license and I immediately inquired if they were going to scan it. They said no, they were going to record some information just in case I started some issue in their club. True to your word, they wrote my name address down and had me initial in a few places. I'm not sure if they glean the same information as they can from a card swipe, but at the time it seemed more palatable.

I paid my cover, which I think was $10, and entered the club. To the right is the main bar area, and to the left is the main dance area with seating around in between the bar area and a dance area. I don't remember the price of the beer so it was likely average, which is $5 or $6.

As for the dancers, there were somewhere between 10 and 12. I was rather impressed with the quality. I had made a note of the dancer's names, but stupid me deleted the text today, so descriptions all have to do. There were a few blondes that were sexy, and one brunette in particular stood out. Her name might have been Mila. She was naturally well endowed and had some tattoos mostly on her arms. She had that whole rockabilly look goin...

Maybe it's having come directly from Filly's that night (see previous review), but Savannah's was super impressive to me. I've been there twice before, once on a dead Tuesday, once on an energetic weekend. This night was again high-energy and was a ton of fun. The 2.5 star rating on this club is complete nonsense, at least where it is now. The best I can figure it had some hiccups when it first switched over to new management, and it sounds like the weeknights and day shifts might be a bit lacking, but for a Friday or Saturday night show you can't do better in Winston Salem (and only equal in Greensboro, with Christie's or Treasure Club).

The club physically is rather nice, with a large stage and a tall (15 - 20 foot?) pole. Chairs at the stage are pretty basic, but behind those are much plusher cloth chairs at the tables. The club itself isn't huge, but feels just right - big enough to have a large crowd, but small enough to let that crowd really make the place feel bustling and fun. There's a secondary "go-go-cage-style" stage to the right that will have the previous performer dancing in it for two songs if it's a busy night. Great opportunity to get more up close and personal if you were a fan of the previous show. The staff is also very attentive, checking on drinks, helping seat you, and generally being available for anything. Feels much more like a nice hotel than a Motel 8, like some other clubs in...

Triad strip clubs seem to me to be notorious for not have any dancers on Sat afternoons. Stopped by Christie's first and only one dancer was there so I thought I would drive over to Winston and try there.
Arrived around 3:30 and did not have to pay a cover charge even though I was not a member (that was good). The club is a little small; there is a bar to the right and small elevated stage to the left. Was pleasantly surprised to find at least 5 girls working. Talked to one at the bar for a little bit and had a couple of drinks, found out that they had the 2 song for $60 dances which is pretty much the same for most clubs in the triad on an afternoon. Found out there was a downstairs that had the more expensive options (30 minutes for $300 and $500 for an hour).
I opted for the 2 for $60 just to see how everything works. It was strictly only one way contact; no negotiation. I understood, they were busted a couple of months back and i could see some apprehension with dancing for someone the first time. Wanted to see how it was to see if things could go further, well long story short, not for me. Used to getting a little bit of mileage and extras at Christie's and Treasure Club but I was not going to with this dancer. Maybe it was me, maybe it was her but I left and went to a near by restaurant and had some beer and wings and waited til Treasure Club opened.
