I believe this club has been around since the early sixties. My uncle remarked that he and my father used to go there long ago. I used to go there back in the nineties and it was pretty run down then.
I had some free time last Sunday, and it was the only club open. So, I drove into the parking lot with very low expectations. However, I was very surprised!
The parking lot is located behind the club and is very secluded and private, and the entrance to the club is to the rear. As I walked to the club, I was greeted very gruffly by a huge security guard that could have been a washed up professional wrestler. This guy was enormous, fat and a little grumpy.
I opened the door and stepped into the little reception area where you normally pay the cover, but it was empty. As I continued into the club I noticed that it had been completely remodeled. There is no smoking in clubs within the Beaumont city limit so they added an outdoor patio. They have new carpet and wall coverings along with some new furniture. The place looked very up to date, comfortable, and very dark. There was no one on stage! As the waitress approached I realized that I knew her from somewhere. She was a waitress there back in the early nineties, and I don’t think she was new then. I asked here if there were any dancers tonight, and she said “They are on the way.” I didn’t have anywhere else to go; so, I ordered a beer and waited to see what showed up. The wai...

This strip club gives off an old vibe. A couple of strippers are already mature women and some songs they play are old. They always play the same old song when they are about to do a special on dances. Dances are $20 and they take you to a couch to do them. Drinks are priced reasonably. There usually only is 2 really attractive girls IMO. Mainly white girls and 1 or 2 black girls. Since there is only a few hotels that work there, usually only the main stage has someone dancing, unless they do the special on dances. Because there are only a couple good looking girls and only a few that work there, i rate this place poorly.

I spent a year in Beaumont almost a decade ago, when the Gold Club was still the gold standard. That was a decent club, but it was harder to get to.. Temptations is much more convenient; when I came through on a visit recently, it was easy enough to drop in off of College Avenue.

Lap dances are normally $25 here, which is more than I like to pay, but on Wednesdays, they're just $10 from 9 to 11. That's a decent value, although there wasn't all that much mileage to be had. I had half a dozen dances from a couple of girls, including a busty latina with long dark hair; she was my favorite. Drinks were cheap too, with $1.75 beers.

The layout is pretty typical, a lot of small tables, with multiple stages and a bar along the wall.

It's probably a good thing this place wasn't here when I lived in the area. I would've left town significantly poorer.

Had a great time. Drinks on Tuesday are 2$ so it's not so rough on the pocket book. Girls were nice. No sob stories from anyone. Most of the girls will sit and say hi, talk for a bit and then of course ask about a dance. They won't hound you though. They had a guy with pulled pork and bar b que you could buy at a good price. I've had bad experiences here In the past but it looks like they have straightened out everything I had to complain about.

I made the attempt to get into this place twice during the last week of Jluy when I was in town on buisness - the first time it wasn't even open (no explanation. The 2nd time I went there were 4 or 5 cars in the lot and I could see a few guys at the bar. I went up to the door person and asked to go in - turns out it wasn't the door person and they had to go find the money taker and inquire if there was even a cover. As I sat there for 5 minutes looking in, the stage was empty and I could see one dancer sitting in the back not doing anything by herself. The cashier came back and told me there was a cover and there were two girls dancing . . .I decided to save my 8 or 10 bucks and head over to The Gold Club.

The lack luster attidue and being completely dead inside turned me off to pay a cover just to get a drink (since nobody was dancing as far as I could tell) - maybe this place picks up on the weekends? I'm not sure, but you would be advised to steer clear early in the week.
