Last strip club in Cornwall. There use to be three a few years back. Smaller club but friendly bar staff and a regular DJ who's been working there forever. I arrived with a buddy at 10pm, the club was 3/4 full. No bouncer or cover at the door, which is nice. There must have been 8 girls on staff. 5 White, 1 Native American and 2 Black. Two of the girls were really hot. I found out quickly that they usually work in Montreal, but are on rotation through Cornwall. Went for a dance and thought i'd touch base again later in the evening, but these two girls were pretty much in demand the rest of the night. Other girls looked a little bored. Anyway, chill atmosphere. Would recommend as a place to unwind, but don't go in with high expectations.

After reading a review from someone who traveled from Montreal and had good things to say about this place, I had reasonably high hopes. They were not fully justified. It is a very small club. That in itself isn't a bad thing, but if you are looking for a bar where you can spend some semi-private time with a dancer, this isn't it. When you walk in, there are pool tables to your left, the bar and dj booth fill the center of the room, then at the far side is a very small stage surrounded by a handful of tables. There was no one on stage. There was no one sitting near the stage. I did see a couple of dancers sitting and talking to customers at the bar, but that was it. I decided to kill some time by using the restroom (not well looked after - another bad sign) and when I came back out the scene had of course not changed. I sat at the bar and grabbed a beer. I had what I must say was a very pleasant chat with a nicely curvy blonde from Montreal but man, there was no energy in the place whatsoever, no vibe, no excitement, and so I passed on her offer of a dance, and left before even finishing my beer.

My dancer rating is no reflection of the one with whom I was chatting, but rather because there was no one actually dancing on stage!

I don't know if I caught it on a bad night, but it was dead, dead, dead. And this was around 10:00 on a Saturday night.

This place was as pleasant a surprise as I can ever recall. The environment could not be more laid back. All of the dancers I engaged for dances, over the week I was there, drove in from Montreal. It also was very diverse. There was something for everyone. I had better time here than I had in Montreal at several name clubs. You could get whatever action you sought, even hotel service for the cost of a few dances.

As a strip club, it's a zero. As a bar, it's a six.
Let me paint the picture. I walk into what appears to be a neighborhood bar. There's a DJ to the right of the door, some decent blues music is playing, and there's a stage behind and to the left of the DJ. "Howyadoin", he says. "You just missed the darts tournament". Darts??? In a strip club???
Suddenly I notice a fairly attractive young lady coming in to the bar and over to the DJ. "Hmmmmm" I thinks. "Maybe this is one of the dancers and she's getting the music for her set".
No such luck. She's there with her husband/boyfriend/co-workers and just requested a song. OK, the beer is good, prices are OK and the music is still FINE.
A hand touches my arm and a sultry voice says "Hi". I turn around and I'm looking at one of the skankiest dancers I've ever seen. She's overweight, overage and over my shoulder.
"Would you like a private dance?" she asks. "No, thank you". I'd rather have root canal without novocaine. (Didn't tell her that part).
Anyway, I sit there for a while, drinking and listening to the DJ do his thing. This is not your typical strip club music collection. He's got George Thurgood, ZZ Top, Greatful Dead, Blues Brothers, BB King, even some Leadbelly. He'll play requests without question.
Canadian beer does strange things to my brai...
